Unless otherwise stated, references on Orso legal pages to “Orso,” “we,” “our,” or “us” refer to Orso Inc. in its capacity as publisher, operator, and legal entity responsible for the website and the app. Product, editorial, operational, technical, and legal publication decisions are made under that responsibility.
Purpose of Orso
Orso is a wellbeing application intended to help users observe patterns, reflect on lived experience, create personal continuity, structure habits, and support everyday personal awareness. The service is designed as a companion for reflection and organization.
Orso is not intended to provide medical diagnosis, treatment, psychiatric assessment, emergency triage, or a guaranteed personal outcome. The service may help users prepare conversations with trusted people or licensed professionals, but it does not replace them and should not be relied upon as a substitute for urgent or specialized care.
Features, interfaces, product descriptions, and roadmap statements may evolve over time. Nothing on this website should be interpreted as a guarantee that every described feature will be made available in a particular form, region, or timeline.
Scope of the Website and App
This website is intended to provide information about Orso, including product presentation, legal information, privacy disclosures, support routes, and related materials. The app and website may each be subject to additional terms, notices, or platform conditions depending on the service involved.
Certain parts of the service may be governed by more specific documents, including the Privacy Policy, Terms of Use, Safety and Privacy page, app store disclosures, platform rules, and service-specific notices displayed in context. If a more specific document applies to a particular feature or service, that document will govern that feature or service to the extent of the relevant subject matter.
Data-Minimization Positioning
Orso is developed with the objective of minimizing data collection and, wherever reasonably possible, avoiding access to users’ private wellbeing content. Orso is not presented as a broad surveillance, advertising, or data-broker style service. The product direction is that private wellbeing content should remain under user control to the greatest extent reasonably possible within the architecture of the service.
Even so, across the broader user experience, including the app, website, support channels, platform services, billing flows, purchase environments, and other web or non-web interactions, Orso or third-party service providers may in some circumstances process limited information relating to a user, including information that may be personal or sensitive. When that occurs, the intended principle is that such processing is limited to what is reasonably necessary for the relevant operational, support, security, legal, payment, or platform-related purpose.
Hosting and Technical Infrastructure
The website and app may rely on one or more third-party providers for hosting, storage, domain services, caching, content delivery, backups, diagnostics, performance monitoring, deployment, email handling, security, payment-related operations, or related infrastructure functions. These providers may change over time for operational, performance, security, legal, or strategic reasons. The existence of such providers does not mean Orso operates a broad server-side data-collection model for private wellbeing content.
Infrastructure providers are used to support service availability, delivery, protection, and maintenance. Their use does not change the identity of the publisher or create co-ownership of Orso unless expressly stated in a future legal notice.
No digital infrastructure can guarantee uninterrupted availability, complete freedom from defects, or universal compatibility. Maintenance windows, updates, hosting events, regional restrictions, service interruptions, and third-party incidents may affect availability or performance.
Use of Third-Party Services and Development Tools
Orso may be designed, developed, tested, operated, and improved with the assistance of third-party tools and service providers. These may include design tools, development environments, hosting services, documentation systems, limited analytics or diagnostic tools, deployment services, payment or platform tools, and AI-assisted drafting or ideation systems.
In practical terms, the product development environment may include tools such as Spline for visual and interactive exploration, OpenAI services such as ChatGPT for drafting and refinement support, Apple technologies and system frameworks for device-level functionality, Google Gemini for limited experimentation or internal ideation, and other standard infrastructure or engineering services used to operate a modern software product.
The use of such tools does not mean those providers are publishers of Orso or that all categories of user content are shared with them indiscriminately. Orso is developed with the objective of minimizing data collection and, wherever reasonably possible, avoiding access to users’ private wellbeing content. Even so, across the broader user experience, including the app, website, support channels, platform services, billing flows, and other web or non-web interactions, Orso or third-party service providers may in some circumstances process limited information relating to a user, including information that may be personal or sensitive. The role of each provider depends on the operational function it serves and is subject to the boundaries described in the applicable Privacy Policy and service architecture.
AI-Assisted and AI-Generated Materials
Some materials associated with Orso, including interface copy, explanatory content, draft language, summaries of internal concepts, support templates, or legal-structuring drafts, may be prepared with the assistance of AI systems. These materials may then be reviewed, corrected, reorganized, translated, shortened, or otherwise adapted before publication or use.
AI assistance is used to support clarity, speed, consistency, and iteration. It does not transform the resulting material into medical advice, legal advice, regulated professional advice, or clinically validated output. Human editorial and product judgment remain necessary.
Medical and Safety Disclaimer
Orso does not provide emergency support. If you believe that you or another person may be in immediate danger, you should contact local emergency services, crisis support lines, licensed medical professionals, or other appropriate emergency resources without delay.
The app and website may contain prompts, summaries, reminders, insights, or reflective tools. These are intended for general wellbeing support and personal organization. They do not create a therapeutic, medical, or clinical relationship and should not be used as a substitute for professional evaluation, diagnosis, treatment, medication decisions, or emergency intervention.
Any question relating to medical diagnosis, psychiatric assessment, medication, therapy, treatment, self-harm risk, or emergency response should be directed to qualified professionals or emergency services as appropriate.
Device Compatibility and Availability
Orso currently focuses on iPhone. Compatibility with other devices, operating systems, regions, browsers, storefronts, or Apple platforms may be limited, unavailable, delayed, or introduced progressively.
References to future product directions, design concepts, or additional devices should not be interpreted as a binding commitment that such support will be released or maintained.
Intellectual Property
The Orso name, logo, visual identity, product presentation, interface elements, text, graphics, original layouts, documentation, and other original content associated with the service are protected by applicable intellectual property and unfair competition laws. Rights may arise under copyright, trademark, trade dress, database, design, or similar legal frameworks depending on the jurisdiction and the asset involved.

This prohibition also extends, to the extent permitted by applicable law, to automated extraction, bulk copying, model training, cloning of the service, reconstruction of design systems, unauthorized dataset creation, and other systematic attempts to reuse Orso content, product structure, or protected materials for commercial or competitive purposes.

You may not use the website or app in a way that is unlawful, abusive, fraudulent, misleading, infringing, or harmful to Orso, its users, its providers, or any third party. This includes attempts to interfere with the normal operation of the service, gain unauthorized access, test vulnerabilities without permission, impersonate another person or entity, or use automated means to extract, copy, monitor, or scrape protected portions of the service.
Orso reserves the right to suspend, restrict, or terminate access where necessary to protect the service, investigate misuse, comply with law, or enforce applicable terms and rights.

No Warranty and Service Availability

Orso does not warrant that the website, app, or any content, feature, or service will be uninterrupted, error-free, secure, or compatible with every device, browser, network, operating system, or region.
Information presented on the website may evolve over time and may not always reflect the latest product state immediately. Orso may modify, suspend, restrict, or discontinue all or part of the service at any time, including for maintenance, technical reasons, legal reasons, security needs, platform changes, or product decisions.
Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, Orso Inc. shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, special, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for any loss of data, profits, revenue, goodwill, opportunity, or business interruption arising out of or related to the use of, inability to use, or reliance on the website, app, or related materials.
Nothing on this page excludes or limits liability where such exclusion or limitation would be unlawful under mandatory applicable law, including non-waivable consumer protection rules.
